Yesterday was a rather fruitful day of discovery. I picked up a sampler single disc thingy of the Pink Spiders, a band of three rowdy guys from Nashville. Their's is a peppy brand of punk-ish pop-rock produced by old Cars frontman, Ric Ocasik. This is consumer rock. Not bad; not the best. Some reviews I've read talk about it getting better with each listen. This is probably true, but I just don't have that kind of time. Try some for yourself:
